The installation of this product requires the Smart Track to be screwed into a sturdy wooden stud. Our system is not designed to screw into metal studs, lathe and plaster ceilings, concrete ceilings, or drop ceilings.

What is covered: Any defect in material and workmanship from personal, normal household use in accordance with the Owner’s Manual.
For how long: Lifetime, from date of purchase.
Who Gets the Warranty: The warranty is limited to the consumer who originally purchased the product.
Geographic Scope: This warranty applies only to the Garage Smart Product purchased in the United States and Canada.
What we will do: If your Garage Smart Product is defective, we will send replacement parts or, at our option, replace it at no charge to you after the defective product is returned to Garage Smart. If we send replacement parts for your Garage Smart Product, we may use new or reconditioned parts. If we choose to replace your Garage Smart Product, we may replace it with a new or reconditioned one of the same or similar design.
Limitations: IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY (AN UNWRITTEN WARRANTY THAT THE PRODUCT IS FIT FOR ORDINARY USE) ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. WE WILL NOT PAY FOR: LOSS OF USE OF YOUR GARAGE SMART PRODUCT OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY YOUR GARAGE SMART PRODUCT OR ITS FAILURE TO WORK ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM MISUSE OR MODIFICATION OF YOUR GARAGE SMART PRODUCT. Some states and provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions may not apply.
How to get Warranty Service: To get warranty service for your Garage Smart Product, you must provide proof of date and place of purchase of the product. Trained representatives will assist in diagnosing the problem and will arrange to supply you with required parts for repairs or replacement product after defective product is returned to Garage Smart.
Warranty Does Not Cover: This warranty does not cover installation commercial use, defects resulting from accidents, damage while in transit to our service location or damage resulting from altercations misuses or abuse, lack of proper maintenance, unauthorized repair or modifications of the product, affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, staples through wiring, pinched or broken wires, broken cables power outages, use of extension cords, missing or damaged parts or discounted clearance, final sale or taped cartons fire, flood, acts of God, or failure to follow the Owner’s Manual. This warranty is the only one we will give on your Garage Smart Product. There are no other express warranties. Customer pays for shipping on warranty replacements.
State Province Rights: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have the other rights that vary from state to state and province to province.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

We offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee on all unopened, unused, and undamaged units. The unit must be unaltered and in original, new condition. Shipping charges to Garage Smart must be paid by customer.
Upon acceptance and processing of the return, all funds will be returned to the original method of payment (minus any fees) and will be processed by Garage Smart within 7 business days of receipt of product (excluding weekends and holidays).
Garage Smart reserves the right to remedy any minor defects in defective units by replacing defective, inoperable, or missing parts rather than offering a refund or exchange.
After 30 days, and up to 90 days from the date of purchase, if product has not been installed, it can be returned for a refund, less 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges to Garage Smart must be paid by customer. The unit(s) must be undamaged and in original, new condition.
Due to the nature and logistics of inventory management and distribution, after 90 days, no returns will be accepted.
Garage Smart DOES NOT accept returns on units that have been installed, modified, scratched, damaged, or abused as they cannot be resold as new products. If you made a mistake while mounting a Garage Smart Lifter, we may have several remedies available to you to help you repair the damaged area and still be able to use your unit.
